The Watford Development Band aims to bring children and young people into a world of music through a fun and enjoyable learning experience. Players need no previous experience of brass playing and instruments will be provided where possible.

We meet at the band room on Thursdays from 7-8.15pm. We rehearse our own musical repertoire, have a short break, then join with the main band for the start of their rehearsal to learn from playing alongside older, more experienced players.

As players in the Development Band progress in skill and experience they are encouraged to integrate more into the main band.
